Instant Dessert Recipe

You can serve this on just about anything such as yogurt and fresh fruit!  We stewed frozen blueberries with fresh nectarines and thickened them with a bit of dissolved cornstarch and placed the mixture in the serving bowls.  Then we added this marvelous topping that we always keep ready for this instant dessert!

Crumb Topping:

2 cups oatmeal (any kind)

2 cups flour

2 cups sugar (brown is really nice)

1 stick melted butter

1 tablespoon melted butter

Combine all ingredients place on a cookie sheet, and bake until brown at 375 degrees.  Cool and store in an air tight container.  It will keep for a long time if you can keep out of it long enough!
