You did it! You gave us an oven! Thank you!
This #GivingTuesday, our wonderful supporters responded enthusiastically to our call to “Give Us Some Oven,” and we couldn’t be more grateful. Between online donations, in-person support, and party-goers at the Thanks for Giving Tuesday event, we raised $8000!
We are so thankful for the generosity everyone has shown over the past few weeks, and overwhelmed by how tremendous this community can be. Your kindness ensures the Soup Kitchen of Muncie will remain a resource the people of Muncie can rely on when they need help most.
We can’t wait to get the new oven ordered and installed, and to start serving more guests more efficiently. With the amount we raised, we’ll also be able to upgrade some other cookware and order staple items that we are always running out of.
