Colorful Spring Lunch at Soup Kitchen of Muncie

A colorful lunch is possible for guests at the Soup Kitchen of Muncie when there are numerous donations of fresh vegetables and many hands to prepare the food. Chicken pot pie is one of the favorite menu items with guests. It’s hot and savory filled with a bounty of tasty vegetables. What more could one want for lunch?

Preparing such a meal takes a great deal of effort since most of the food is fresh.  In order to accomplish this, many volunteers are needed.  The Soup Kitchen of Muncie is always in need of more volunteers.  Volunteers can help in the kitchen, serve as drivers to pickup donated food, greet guests and clean.  This is a great opportunity for high school and college students seeking summer enrichment as well as seniors and other adults just wanting to give to the community.
