At the Soup Kitchen of Muncie, we have some amazing supporters! Whether they are our volunteers who help prepare and serve meals, our annual appeal supporters donors, our artists, cake and silent auction donors, or our annual dinner sponsors, we really could not feed the hungry in Muncie as well as we do without them.
We also cannot do this work without you!!! We rely on supporters who attend our Annual Dinner and who actively bid in our art, cake and silent auctions. A significant portion of our operating budget comes from the Annual Dinner and although it is not until the evening of Saturday, April 4th at the Horizon Convention Center, it is still not too early to be thinking about it.
If you are planning to attend our 10th Annual Dinner, or simply a supporter of the Soup Kitchen and our local artist community, please plan to join us for a free community Art and Wine event sponsored by Morrison Woods Health Campus to preview the art that will be auctioned off at the Annual Dinner.
Where: Morrison Woods Health Campus The Villa Clubhouse at 4210 N. Morrison Rd., Muncie
When: Thursday, February 27th from 5 to 7 pm
Many of our artists will be on hand to talk with you about their work and to showcase the piece they are donating for the Art Auction at this year’s Annual Dinner. Having a sneak peek ahead of the auction is always helpful in deciding what you might want to bid on. Come view some wonderful artwork, sip some delicious wine, savor some light hors d’oeuvres and enjoy some great company.
