Burris High School Class of ’67 returns to Muncie to celebrate their 50th Anniversary. They plan to do more than just reminisce about the “good old days”. Since their class always cared about the community, they decided to payback to Muncie. When they learned that classmate Loretta Parsons is the executive director of the Soup Kitchen of Muncie, they created a special fundraising program “Give a Hoot” working with the Community Foundation of Muncie and Delaware County. Money raised will replace outdated, overused equipment. On Friday, many of the “Owls” volunteered at the Soup Kitchen of Muncie. Thanks for your generous spirit.
