John has been a volunteer 6 years. He’s one who seems to be able to do anything. Recently our beloved mixer, Lucy, refused to start. John repaired it using not the part that the Hobart Company said was needed what he put bought locally. He was an electrician, skilled tradesman and supervisor with General Motors for 40 years and became a volunteer at the Soup Kitchen of Muncie at the invitation of his friend Doug. Besides doing mechanical repairs, he also washes all of the used aprons each week and makes great sack lunches. We are lucky to have him as a volunteer. Thanks.
